What you can do today
Lane sheet (needs manage_schedule or run_gate) shows the lane allocation
for a session: each lane, and the people in it with their role.
It is designed to be read on a phone at the end of a pool, in sunlight, by somebody who has thirty seconds. That is why it is a hard-edged grid with big type and no decoration.
If you can see contact restrictions (run_gate or manage_club_members), a
session shows a red "{child}: Do not release to {name}" line when a
restriction in force that day touches someone on it — a coach working it, or a
member of the family it is hosted for. Sessions whose names are withheld from you
show no restriction lines, and the safeguarding notes are never on the sheet.
Read-only, for now
You cannot edit the allocation from this screen yet. The sheet reads what the schedule holds. Building the drag-a-swimmer-into-a-lane surface is still to come.
What it is good for today
- Checking a session before it starts
- Handing a phone to an assistant coach
- The front desk confirming which session somebody is actually here for
Related
