What you get today
Every club on SwimWin has a public website at its own address. It is server-rendered, fast, and it carries:
- Your club's name and wordmark
- Your brand colour, applied throughout
- Join — the public registration form
- Sign in for families who already have accounts
- Opening hours, if you have published them
- A contact address and email, if you have published them
It is honest rather than flashy. There is no invented location, no placeholder schedule and no "we have 400 families" on a club that does not.
Two templates
Website → Settings → Template chooses the frame every page sits in:
- Classic — a white page, a light header with your menu beside your name, and a dark footer.
- Coastal — a cool sea-mist page, a dark masthead with the menu on its own row and a wave into the page, and a light footer.
Switching changes the frame on every page at once and never moves your content. Your colour, fonts and logo are the same in both.
Your logo, colour and type
Website → Settings → Brand is where the club sets its own look: upload the club's logo (a PNG, 512 KB or smaller), choose whether the header shows the logo, the name, or both, and pick the brand colour, the accent used on dark sections and the typefaces. Changes are live as soon as they are saved, on the website, in the club's emails and across the app.
The logo goes up straight away and replaces the old one. It does not go through photo review — there is nobody in a logo to protect — so upload only the club's mark there, never a photograph.
Remove the logo takes it down: every page shows the club's name in type instead, straight away. You can upload a logo again at any time.
Your brand colour, and the one thing it cannot recolour
A club's brand colour replaces SwimWin's accent everywhere — buttons, links, the wordmark, focus rings, and the branding on the emails your club sends.
It does not touch the green / yellow / red safety vocabulary. A club cannot make "blocked" look reassuring, not by picking a soft colour, not by accident, and not by a well-meaning admin who thinks red looks alarming at the front desk. Those three colours are compiled in and there is no property to override.
Two addresses, and the second one matters
Your club has a web address and an API address, and they are set up together. Everything a person does in a browser — the public site, signing in, and the Website, Roster and every other staff screen — happens on the web address. The API address is what the SwimWin mobile app talks to. You add your own web domain yourself, from Website → Settings; an API address of your own for the app is set up by SwimWin support.
Photographs of children go through a fence, not a filter
Any photograph that shows an identifiable child has to clear photo review before it can appear publicly. That is a separate permission from building the site, deliberately: the person who edits the pages is often a parent, and whoever builds the site should not be the person who decides other families' children may appear on it.
If a consent is missing, withdrawn or expired, the photograph is blocked — not quietly dropped from a page, but refused with a reason, so somebody can fix it.
What is not built yet
A team store. Selling kit and merchandise through the site is not built; see Team store.
